- Well. What a finish. Fairly mediocre for 119 minutes but a quite incredible end to this match. Turkey head back to Switzerland to face Germany. Slaven Bilic is having to console his players, Srna is sobbing uncontrollably.
1-3 Mladen Petric HAS to score for Croatia or Turkey are in the semi final... AND FROM ZERO TO HERO RUSTU PULLS OFF AN INCREDIBLE SAVE TO HIS LEFT! TURKEY ARE THROUGH! They face Germany in the last four and Croatia can't believe it. Incredible.
1-3 Hamit Altintop for Turkey now... and cool as you like into the bottom right, three out of three for Turkey.- 1-2 Rakitic steps up, only 20 years old... AND HE SENDS IT WIDE OF THE LEFT HAND POST! Bilic can't believe it.
- 1-2 Semih... and he rams it into the bottom left for 2-1. Pletikosa went too early there.

- 118' Ugor to Tuncay with a good run, now Karadeniz who wins a corner. A late, late chance for the Turks... Ugor to take, and he sends it to the edge of the six-yard box but Gokhan rises a bit too early and heads it over.

- 48' Arda and Simunic go down in a heap, Arda fouled Simunic and is pretending to be hurt and he gets a yellow card - yet another Turk to miss the next match.

- 45+1 And there goes the half-time whistle, goalless but not short of action! The best chance was for Croatia, Ivica Olic somehow hitting the bar from close range.
- 45+1 Olic on the right, turns in and out of Emre Asik but his cross is intercepted.
- 45' As Tuncay is taken off the pitch to get his cut knee mopped up, Pranjic is getting treatment to his back...
- 44' Worrying scenes for Turkey as Tuncay lies in agony on the ground after a follow-through from Nico Kovac catches him on the knee. It's a knock as opposed to a twist to he'll be ok.
- 42' Good one-touch play from Croatia as Modric slips the ball into SRNA WHO'S FREE ON THE RIGHT but a great slide tackle from Tuncay, who plays it off Srna to win his side a goal-kick.
- 40' A slight lull in proceedings as the sides seem to take a breather after a frantic 20 minutes or so.
- 38' Mehmet Topal gets the ball a good 30 yards out and he hammers in a rising drive that BEATS PLETIKOSA AND WHISTLES CENTIMETRES WIDE OF THE ANGLE OF POST AND BAR! Almost a quite spectacular goal.
- 37' Topal fouled by Olic in the centre-circle after dilly-dallying.
- 36' Kazim-Richards on the right, inside to Nihat who slips it in for Tuncay who goes down under a challenge from Simunic but nothing given! That looked like an obstruction to me! And the replay shows it was, should have been an indirect free-kick in the area.
- 34' Mistake by the Croatia defence lets Hamit in and Nihat is free but oh no he slips as he tries to play him through and Croatia can clear!
- 33' Kranjcar into Olic but Sabri is back covering to intercept and clear. Kazim-Richards comes forward looking for Hamit but a poor pass.
- 32' Great backheel as Arda slips it through to Tuncay on the left but Nihat can't get there to support him in time and it's played clear as Tuncay flops to the ground... Turkey come forward to win it back though but a dreadful ball from Sabri.
- 28' A bit of hesitancy from Rustu coming to punch but the flag is up and they have a free-kick.
- 27' Oh dear, Tuncay is booked and if Turkey make it he is out of the semi final. Turkey could be in trouble if they make the semis as they have eight players on one yellow card, a keeper with a ban and several injuries.
- 26' Turkey are backs against the wall here, Modric with a tackle and quick release for Olic who is through, but his first touch lets him down, he manages to hold onto him and Rakitic on the overlap but the shot is blocked and Turkey clear. Phew!
- 25' Prakitic, now Kranjcar who plays a cross in for OLIC FREE IN THE BOX but Rustu punches clear.
- 24' Superb ball from Modric to Pranjic on the left, a great run as he cuts inside to hit the byline and he drags it back for Modric again but Turkey intercept and clear. They counter now but Sabri with a poor ball and the momentum is lost.
- 22' A short delay as a Turkey player is down holding his face... He's okay though.
- 21' Rakitic feeds Pranjic on the left, he bursts into space but falling as he crosses he sends the ball too deep for Olic and Turkey survive. Croatia very much in the ascendance at the moment.
- 20' Corluka with a throw, cross over for Olic but Rakitic gets his head onto it first and diverts the ball away.
- 18' Srna on the right, great ball in to Modric who sprints into the box and cuts it back to perfection FOR OLIC WHO MUST SCORE BUT HE HAMMERS IT OFF THE UNDERSIDE OF THE BAR AND IT BOUNCES CLEAR AND KRANJCAR HEADS THE LOOSE BALL OVER! What a chance!
- 17' Croatia move in on the left but good tracking back from Kazim-Richards to clear.
- 15' Turkey swarm forward now but Croatia hold firm at the back. The teams seem a pretty good match so far...
- 14' Long ball almost sends Modric through but just a bit too long and back with Rustu.
- 13' Taken short to HAMIT WITH A HAMMER-SHOT but Kovac hurls himself out to block and is left in a heap on the floor.
- 12' Turkey come forward, good play with Arda in to Nihat on the edge of the box, super challenge from Nico Kovac but the ref deems it a foul! That was harsh, and a free-kick to Turkey just inside the D on the edge of the box...
- 10' Hamit turns and has a shot from about 35 yards out, it takes a massive deflection off Nihat.
- 9' Turkey still have it though, and play it back to Rustu to take the sting out of things and continue to keep possession, which they have done better than Croatia thus far.
- 8' Hamit and Kazim-Richards are on the right but slow it down and give Croatia time to get back, Olic it is tackling back on Sabri and Croatia clear.
- 7' Poor clearance from Corluka hits Hakan, now Tuncay can shoot but it's a weak effort straight at Pletikosa.
- 6' Poor defending by Turkey as Sabri gives the ball away, Rustu is all over the place as Modric is in and it's played to SRNA WHO CAN FINISH but the red shirts converge and it's blocked for a corner! The game is starting to liven up now...
- 5' Kazim-Richards with a cross after Pranjic gave the ball away, but way too deep... still with Turkey, Tuncay on the left, he's fouled by Corluka but play-on is waved as it is played to Hamit Altintop who fires wide!
- 3' Good run on the right by Corluka but Hakan is back to challenge... a poor clearance by Sabri goes to Modric ON THE EDGE OF THE BOX but the shot is weak and deflected into the arms of Rustu.
