Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has rejected reports linking the club with a move for out-of-contract midfielder Patrick Berger.Recent reports had linked Berger with a return to the Britannia Stadium as Pulis looks to bolster his squad ahead the club's Premier League season.
But Pulis insists he has had no contact with Berger, who had a loan spell at Stoke in 2006.
"I haven't even spoken to him, never mind put a contract on the table," Pulis told The Sentinel.
Berger, 34, will leave Aston Villa in the summer after a disagreement with manager Martin O'Neill.
