Coventry chairman Ray Ranson believes Chelsea's approach for coach Steve Kean proves the high quality of the club's management team.Representatives of Blues manager Luiz Felipe Scolari spoke to Kean about a role with the Premier League and Champions League runners-up, but the Scot says he will stay at the Ricoh Arena.
Ranson insists Kean wants to coach in the top flight but with Coventry rather than Chelsea.
Ranson told the club's official website: "We take it as a huge compliment that Chelsea are interested in Steve Kean. They are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and only consider the very best personnel - on and off the pitch.
"As Steve says, he is very committed to what we are aiming to achieve here at Coventry City. He wants to be coaching in the Premier League again but wants to do it with us here at the Ricoh Arena."
