Blackburn have confirmed they have turned down bids for both David Bentley and Stephen Warnock.
Aston Villa and Tottenham have both made moves for England star Bentley - who has already stated his desire to quit the Lancashire club.
However, Rovers want the 23-year-old to stay put and have shunned both offers.
"We've had bids from two clubs for David Bentley; one when Mark Hughes was manager, and the other very recently. They have both been rejected," said Rovers chairman John Williams.
Williams also confirmed an offer for Stephen Warnock - reportedly from Newcastle - was also shunned.
"We've had a bid of £2million," said Williams.
"It was rejected and the club concerned has been told he is not for sale."
Finally, the Rovers supremo has also stressed that Andre Ooijer is not for sale after Greek giants Panathinaikos were strongly linked.
"We've not received a written bid from Panathinaikos, but I've made it clear anyway that Andre is not for sale," he told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.

Get rid of Bentley, because he obviously dosn't want to play for Rovers, and no player will give their all when they want out.
Why do you think P Ince is a poor call? Because he messed up before now in his managerial career or because Backburn passed up Mourinho for him?
I feel for Blackburn as you have to admire what they've achieved and they're obviously a well run club. If i was bentley, samba or santa cruz though i would be looking to move on. i think last season's position was a slightly false one as teams with more clout and more money were in a transitional phase. you have to expect the likes of villa, man city and spurs to be a lot stronger this year and blackburn may well struggle with their new and inexperienced manager. i think paul ince was a very poor call.
£2 million for Warnock - what a joke! He's England's second best left back. With the daft price being thrown around you can add a zero on to the end of that figure!
