Blackpool manager Simon Grayson has revealed he hopes to bring in a number of new faces after finishing his summer break.Having completed the signing of former Stoke defender Marlon Broomes, Grayson admitted he will be working hard to bring in a couple more players within the next few weeks.
Grayson told the Blackpool Gazette: "We have already signed Marlon Broomes and I would like to get a couple more in in the next couple of weeks, but it is a patient game that we have to play. We can't get too disappointed if we don't get the people we want.
"I realise we are quite a bit light at the moment but we will not be signing players just to make up the numbers."
On the signing of Broomes, Grayson added: "The good thing is that Marlon can play anywhere across the back four and we are a little bit short in that department.
"He was hungry to come here and succeed - and I want hungry players."
