There were no upsets as the four big names eased their way past the challengers to book their places in the semi-finals of the second event in the World Series of Snooker.
Graeme Dott will take on John Higgins, while Stephen Maguire meets Shaun Murphy in the last four after they cruised past their unheralded opponents in Berlin.
Higgins, however, needed a break of 61 in the deciding frame to secure his 4-3 victory over Lasse Munstermann of Germany.
Murphy whitewashed German Patrick Einsle 4-0, Maguire hammered Hans Blanckaert of Belgium by the same scoreline and Dott eased past Kiwi Chris McBreen 4-1.
Twice world champion Higgins, who is co-promoter of the World Series with his manager, Pat Mooney, won the first event of the new tour in Jersey last month.
