Fulham are expected to wrap up the double capture of West Ham pair Bobby Zamora and John Pantsil this week in a combined £7.5million package. Both Zamora and Pantsil have fallen out of favour under Alan Curbishley at Upton Park, and are happy to make the short switch to Craven Cottage.
Fulham boss Roy Hodgson sees Zamora as the perfect replacement for Diomansy Kamara, who is out for six months, and is ready to stump up £6million for the former Spurs forward.
Versatile defender Pantsil will not cost as much, with Mohamed Al Fayed having to find £1.5million to recruit the 27-year-old according to the News of the World.
West Ham CEO Scott Duxbury said: "They want to play regular first-team football and we have given permission for them to speak to Fulham with a view to concluding a move."
