Striker Diego Leon hopes to make his Barnsley debut but goalkeeper Heinz Muller (groin) is a doubt despite being given the all-clear after a scan - Kyle Letheren will again play if he fails to make it. Defender Stephen Foster is an illness doubt but striker Istvan Ferenczi, rested last week, should return.

Ched Evans is available after rejoining the Canaries on loan. Jason Shackell, who picked up a knock against Crystal Palace on New Year's Day, has resumed training and could be involved and reserve keeper Matthew Gilks has recovered from an ankle injury and could be named on the bench.

Chris Coyne and Phil Ifil are set to be drafted in. Striker Clive Platt has resumed full training after a back injury and is available, while midfielder Kevin Watson could also make the squad after a month out with a calf problem. Goalkeeper Aidan Davison (shoulder) is still missing.

On-loan Sunderland centre-back Stanislav Varga is in line to make his league debut for the club after playing against the Gunners in the FA Cup last weekend.

David Norris is serving a one-match ban and leading scorer Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has joined Wolves which will probably hand Lukas Jutkiewicz a chance to make his full debut after the on-loan Everton man made his debut as a late substitute against Hull. Krisztian Timar (hamstring) faces a fitness test and Nick Chadwick (knee) is also doubtful.

Akpo Sodje and Steve Watson should return to contention and fit-again defender Richard Wood is expected to start on the bench again after a successful 90-minute midweek run-out with the reserves. Defender Frank Simek (ankle) and winger Wade Small (hamstring) remain sidelined.

Kaspars Gorkss is pushing for a return in the centre of defence at the expense of Ian Evatt or captain Michael Jackson.

Striker Craig Beattie (thigh) is a doubtful starter despite managing 90 minutes and scoring Albion's consolation goal as the reserves lost 5-1 to Nottingham Forest this week. Roman Bednar (calf) and defenders Paul Robinson (rib) and Carl Hoefkens (thigh) have been passed fit and top scorer Kevin Phillips should return after he was rested for the FA Cup.

Mamady Sidibe is representing Mali in the African Nations Cup. Jon Parkin appears the favourite to now partner Ricardo Fuller in attack. Doubts linger over the fitness of midfielder Rory Delap, who is battling to overcome a thigh problem, while Salif Diao (knee) and Dominic Matteo (foot) remain sidelined.

Dan Shittu's absence (African Nations Cup) hands a chance to Matt Jackson and Adrian Mariappa is also in contention after starting for the reserves at Leyton Orient in midweek. Al Bangura (elbow), Gareth Williams and Junior Osborne (both knee) miss out but Lionel Ainsworth is available after being cup-tied for last weekend's win against Crystal Palace.

On-loan right-back John Halls is in line for his Palace debut if Danny Butterfield fails to shake off a groin injury. Warnock will re-introduce some of his senior players after fielding youngsters Sean Scannell, John Bostock, Lee Hills and substitutes Victor Moses and Ryan Hall in the FA Cup at Watford. Paul Ifill missed out with a hamstring injury and Tony Craig is still recovering from shoulder surgery.
